A. There are three main reasons that we changed our Fitted Innie™ design to a pocket:
1. With a pocket - you can customize your absorbency. If you have a heavy wetter you can add LolliDoo™ Organic Absorbency and Flat Innies™ as boosters. 2. A pocket eliminates the cumbersome external elastic loop. We've replaced it with an internal cinch sizing system, the same as our eco-pockets. 3. The pocket opening allows for quicker dry time - and we are all about quick drying diapers.
Q. Do I need a cover with fitted diapers?
A. Yes. A fitted diaper is a modern take on the older versions that required pins. LolliDoo™ Organic Innies™ are all made from cotton and need a cover, we recommend LolliDoo™ Recycled Outties™.
Q. How do I size my LolliDoo™ Fitted Innies™?
A. See this chart below.
1. Give a little tug on the elastic cinch sizing. 2. Gently pull the elastic and unbutton it. 3. Re-button the elastic in the hole that best suits your child. Sometimes this takes a try or two before you get the correct size so please be patient. 4. Once your diaper is sized there is no need to re-adjust until your baby is ready for the next size. The elastic will stay put during laundering.
Q. Who dyes the tye dyed Fitted Innies™?
A. As you may know, we are a small family run company. As such, each tye dyed Innie™ has been hand dyed personally by me (Alison) at my home in Tucson, AZ.

When Melissa and I were in our conceptual phase we envisioned a company that was socially conscious and environmentally responsible. A company that supported our economy by creating green jobs, manufacturing in the USA of components in the USA. Most importantly we wanted to create a diaper that encompassed all these things while being soft, comfy, absorbent and safer for babies.
I am proud to say that we have, at least in part, hit all of these goals.
We are socially conscious. At least 75% of our staff are single mothers from domestic violence shelters. We aren't giving them a hand out, these are well trained workers who needed a break. They create the beautiful diapers that we make today. We employ these women because we believe in them and we support mothers.
Have you met our sales reps? All but two of our reps are mothers who work from home, sometimes taking their babies on sales calls with them. Melissa and I made the decision to hire mothers as a way to empower women to generate income and raise their family without having to choose.
We are environmentally responsible. Most people know that LolliDoo™ diapers are recycled, recyclable, re-usable and certified organic. But did you know that we re-purpose our manufacturing waste into packaging? Our materials are printed at Arizona Lithography using wind power on recycled paper with soy based inks. Melissa and I are trying to get a grant to build or renovate a building using as many renewable resources as possible. We also donate 10% of our profits to the Water Keepers Alliance. One of our dreams is to create a non-profit to educate the public on water consumption and quality.
Green jobs. By manufacturing in the USA we create jobs. By using only domestic components we support other American businesses, especially the organic cotton farming industry - which you may know is floundering.
As for the final product we manufacture -LolliDoo™ Diapers, well they are soft, absorbent, comfortable and safer for babies. They are highly breathable and we even came up with a nighttime solution for heavy wetters.
Melissa and I want to make a difference in the world. We not only want to support our families but our babies, our planet and our economy. When you purchase a LolliDoo™ Diaper - rest assured that you are supporting a company with the purest of intentions.
When Melissa and I started Go Green Sustainable Industries, LLC, one of our most important values was that all our products are made in the USA.Not only do want to support our stagnant economy but we believe that in order to be truly eco-friendly, we have to do our best to conserve resources.Even though it is significantly less expensive to manufacture overseas, the waste of fuel is considerable.
I wonder why it is that our laws promote economic growth for other countries and leave the USA in the dust.According to a 2006 government report, many U.S. companies, cloth diaper companies included, employ hundreds of workers overseas which obviously means more economic growth for other countries and less for the USA. Companies have nearly $500 billion stashed abroad that can be taxed here at home. That blows my mind.
While politicians would have you believe that they are going to do something about American companies producing overseas, our tax code actually rewards overseas companies.
““The U.S. tax code is set up so that if I am a U.S. corporation trying to create jobs in Ohio or Ireland, it will point me towards Ireland.”
Says Martin Sullivan, a contributing editor at Tax Analysts.
This is so frustrating for companies like ours who are trying to make an exceptional product domestically.I assume, (yes I know what happens when you assume things), that it is also troublesome for other U.S. manufacturers who cannot compete financially with foreign manufacturers.
Melissa and I are dedicated to producing LolliDoo® Diapers, and product lines entirely in the USA.That means that the fabrics, sewing, labels and notions are made in the USA.Even the PET bottles that are recycled and used in the Ecospun® are domestic.
What does that mean for the consumer?
It means that LolliDoo® will never be a bargain brand. It means that they can be confident in the knowledge that no human rights were violated in the production of their diaper; all contractors are paid a fair wage. It also means that there is less fuel wasted on the transport of LolliDoo® Diapers, so they are helping conserve virgin resources.
Purchasing a LolliDoo® Diaper and accessories means that the consumer can feel confident that they are investing in an environmentally friendly, economically stimulating product that surpasses the average in that it’s handcrafted, made in the USA, recycled and recyclable.
LolliDoo® Be part of the solution, right from the very beginning.
